After a long hiatus, the Swanton High School Class of 1965 Network is back! Were looking forward to hearing what you've been up to since we left.

Kathy (Black) Menough sent me the sad news that Sona Eppenstein passed away on Feb 5, 2011. I'm sure you remember her if you took Latin. I've always considered her to be one of my closest friends. She was a great friend & teacher. I'm sure she will be dearly missed by many who knew her.

I've been very bad about keeping in touch I'll try to do better. Okay?

The day started out with light rain that escalated to a torrential downpour, forcing the implementation of "Plan B". Picnic tables were moved inside and dried off before the guests began to arrive. The rain turned out to be a blessing in disguise as, after it stopped, the rest of the day was fairly cool with relatively low humidity, making for a very comfortable afternoon.

Friday night (Aug 20) the Swanton Corn Festival will hold its "All Class Reunion" from 6-11 pm. As in past years, tables will be placed in an area set aside where people can meet to discuss old times.
