Graduated University of Toledo-Mechanical Engineering
The blizzard of 1978 convinced me to move South.
Still working, don't want to quit. Work for North Carolina division of air quality. A lot going on with global warming issues and the influx of military families to the area with the base realignment at Fort Bragg. I like making a difference. Currently live in Fayetteville, NC.
Thanks to Mrs. Carpenter for making English memorable. I remember Roberts Burns' Ode to a Louse. It gave me good perspective and kept me humble. Paraphrased it said
if only the gift he gave us, to see ourselves as others see us.

Love and enjoy life, love the Stones, Blues, especially BB King and Buddy Guy. Eric Clapton is awesome too.

Enjoy any other activity that includes Macallan single malt scotch and/or Guiness stout
Jim, As promised, the Ning management team announced their new price points today. The basic network, "Ning Mini", will be $3.95/mo, $19.95/yr, for networks with up to 150 members (I can't imagine our membership ever exceeding that number.) I think I can afford the $20/yr to maintain this network, but its possible some of the features we now use will not be available. To retain those features, we may need to move up to the next level at $199/yr. That would probably have to go before the "finance committee" for approval.
For now we can keep what we have, switch to "Ning Mini" in July and see if it suits our needs. I will explore other options, if necessary, at some future point in time.
Jim, They haven't put out any information on the future and what the rates might be. Currently it's $24.95/mo to remove the ads. We'll just have to wait and see what it costs. Hopefully they won't make changes until after August.
Your looking well. Your right, it has been a long time, maybe too long. We will have to make an effort to correct that. You also appear to be doing well and you have a good looking family. Hearing from you brought back a flood of good memories. I sure hope you are planning on attending the reunion so we can catch up.
Jim, Your statement: "Enjoy any other activity that includes Macallan single malt scotch" made me go to the liquor cabinet for a dollop of Glenmorangie. You realize that every time I visit your page I'll have to repeat the process!
