Susan Carole Kapeluck, 57, of Maumee, died March 24, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee. She was born on September 16, 1947, in Swanton, OH, to Charles and Lily (Fabik) Sadowski. Susan taught English at the Four County Vocational High School in Archbold for 32 years and was a substitute teacher at Anthony Wayne High School after retirement. Sue loved playing cards going out to eat, traveling with her children and playing with her cats, Elvis, Felix and Wiley. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Maumee, Waterside Red Hatters, St. Joseph's Altar Society, and served as a Waterside Trustee. Susan is survived by her children, Alexia of Cleveland Heights, OH, Nicholas of Toledo and Peter (Jacquelynn) of Dunbar, WV; her siblings, John (Shirley) Sadowski of Plano, TX, Randy Sadowski of Hookstown, PA, Jean (Doug) Pufpaff of Battle Creek, MI, Mary Sadowski of West Lafayette, IN and Kathleen (Neil) Munger of Bowling Green, OH, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Saturday, March 26, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. at Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 28 at St. Joseph's Church in Maumee. Reverend Michael Dandurand will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Richard's Cemetery in Swanton. Memorials may be offered to St. Joseph's Altar Society, Lucas County Humane Society or the Berea Children's Home and Family Services in Berea, Ohio.
